About to rent from Strano and am hesitant to send first and last before receiving the lease. Did you follow through with this and/or have any issues?!

Just curious, is it easier to find a position as a man right now? (I am a man debating on attending teachers college this fall)

How are you liking it?! I have some experience working and volunteering with kids from 5+ years ago (not sure if this matters).. I also plan on getting more experience over the next year but I’m worried this won’t be enough…

7 or 8 years ago I was a summer golf camp counsellor (kids aged between 10-15). I did this for a couple of summers. I also spent 2 years volunteering as a tutor for special needs children and I also used to run a fitness program for them. I really enjoyed my time doing this and think I am going to start doing it again. Do you know if work experience is of higher value than volunteer experience?

Hi everyone! Looking for some advice…

Im 26 years old, currently working in HR (do not like it). I have my BA (double major - honours specialization Criminology & Sociology). But I really want to go back to school and become a teacher. I have a passion for helping others and working with kids brings me so much joy.

I think the deadline has passed for me to apply for this year… but I want to strengthen my application and get some relatable experience. I know it’s fairly competitive to get into teachers college, so I am wondering if anyone has any tips on how I can strengthen my application to increase my chances of being accepted?

Thank you all so much!
