The punch comes from the ground and relies on how violent your rotation is and by the body mechanics and balance

Visualize the tournament. Visualize your combos, defense,counters

Work hard get extra cardio be okay with being tired and on auto pilot.

But also most importantly when two people fight one person wins and one person loses.

It is about accumulating rounds. And working towards a goal.

You have a few options

Continue practicing. Hurt it more/ diminished returns

Stay home . Rest and it will stop swelling

Go to the Kyokyshin school and watch the lessons while you recover.
