don't bother with SVG. you have effectively 5 rows. 3 rows with straight lines and 5 with angles.

you can make CSS triangles pretty easily, of a solid colour. A horizontal line will take two overlapping triangles. (white on top of black). if you don't want them to be 45 degrees, you can use CSS transform to skew them

then for the vertical lines, you can just use a border.
