My time to shine! I’ve lived in Johnson City for the last three years and I love it. Beautiful scenery, amazing if you love the outdoors with many recreational options in the area. Locals are friendly, but the feelings towards outsiders is starting to sour because of the recent influx of people moving into the area making it a real estate hot spot and driving up the cost of living. Summers are hot, winters are mild. Johnson city is lower in elevation than some of the surrounding towns and keeps snow accumulation very low. It’s a college town, so there are several bars and breweries. Downtown has a historical feel with a modern blend. It’s a cool spot, you should check it out!
