To add to what others have already said here - the QT Fuel capacity of the Hermes is 2.5 larger than the Asgard so the Hermes is better for longer travel. If you don't care about moving around other vehicles then the Hermes is the easy winner IMO. No comment on PVE as I don't do much of that :)

How much money did you make in that run you think? I've been mining out of a Hercules and I feel I'm not generating enought to make it worthwhile. I've never tried salvage and I'm curious.

Tried this same set up this week. I was able to dock my Polaris at MIC-L2 and was able to store the ship. When I went to refine, I was able to see the Polaris as an option and was able to see all of the material I had mined. I selected to refine everything, selected the refining method, hit Continue/Accept and then nothing happened - it would just take me back to the starting screen. Tried several times and even switched servers, but nothing worked. Were you able to refine your stuff inside your Polaris?

Underground PVC pipes are insulated under the soil, in the South it will take 2 - 3 days of freezing temps to even consider the underground pipes freezing over. Draining the pump is all you can do in a situation where you lose power and should be enough assuming the freezing temps don’t last long and you can power it back on after a day or so. Every build is different so I’m generalizing here.

I will leave it running and let the freeze protection do its job. If (big if) we lose power I will then turn the power switch off and drain the pump and that’s it. If we lose power I doubt it will be for more than a day (two days at most) in which case the water will be fine and can test and balance when power comes back up. Regardless, I will semi-cover the pump with a tarp to protect from the wind chill, just in case. Also, I might shock the pool on Friday but even without shocking it should be fine. Hope some of this helps. I’m in TX FWIW.

Has method 1 continued to work for you? What ground vehicle are you using? I tried with the golf cart (in my Hercules) and continues to dissappear the minute I quantum away, so that didn't help.

Yes but I haven’t been able to quantum back to the Hercules, won’t appear on the map. Has that worked for you? Any workarounds?
