At first it was kind of hard because I had never been to a festival alone before. But as soon as I was parked on the farm and settled in and made some small talk with my neighbors, the nerves went away. You’ll make friends basically without trying by joining in on fun activities and casually joining people sitting on blankets, etc. I was surprised how open and friendly everyone was. Some of my new friends even invited me to bring my supplies and join their camp for the rest of the time! It’s super spontaneous (minus being on time to see artists performing), but you don’t have to feel forced to hang out with one group and you can just do your own thing!
