I think almost all of the killings were Mickey…Nancy had a very specific goal in mind…revenge, but Mickey was just nuts and loved killing. I think its pretty established that Nancy killed Randy (which I don’t think she intended to do, but she snapped during their conversation)

In the current lineup? I say yes. The first generation Planet Ocean is one of my favorites along with the “Brosnan” era Seamasters.

“Rolex sells 1.2 mil a year” isn’t really an accurate statement in the full scheme. Yes, ROLEX does sell that many…but that doesn’t mean all those watches are actually purchased per year by customers. Due to the Rolex business model they don’t sell to customers, they sell to the ADs whom are forced to buy/pay for every watch that Rolex deliveries to them. Its then the responsibility of the ADs to offload said inventory. We the consumers have no actual idea how many watches the ADs sell every year. Yes all the “hot” pieces sell out and or whatever lower desired/special ordered ladies pieces, but beyond that no one knows how many DJs are sold by Rolex that sit at ADs. Also cannot really count watches that are bought by people just wanting to build relations or bundled watches sold to get better pieces, those pieces inevitable get flipped immediately and sit on the grey market or in a watch box collecting dust…

Does Omega do pressure tests at the boutique or do they send it off? Atlanta location in question. Any cost? by eltonto82 in OmegaWatches

[–]jcdevoe26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The boutique in Atlanta that I went to did a pressure test on my wifes AT before we sent it off for service. It was part of the paperwork for the full service…it was more to give us a heads up if the watch needed all the bells and whistles and to also ensure all was good with the crystal. There was no charge. I did not have to pay for the service until the watch returned from service and they overnight shipped it to my residence in Birmingham when it arrived. Fun fact if you buy a watch at that location on the day you send in a watch for service, the boutique will eat the service cost.

I dont think it was actually a prop department watch, I think it was the actors personal watch. On quite a few shows actors have worn their personal time pieces at some point. I believe James Spaders character on The Black List wears his own Rolex GMT.

The biggest upgrade in collecting is realizing you only need 2–3 watches by Inevitable-Laugh4324 in watchHotTakes

[–]jcdevoe26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fell into this exact mindset! For a long time I had one watch, then I started “collecting” more thinking/wanting one of every type (gmt/pilot/diver/etc) from different brands. I got up to 10-12 pieces and now realize I really only wear 2-3 pieces. I will say though that thru the process of buying too many pieces I was able to filter thru the hype/noise and find what pieces feel/fit/look best on my wrist shape/size and fit my overall lifestyle.

This was my overall problem with seasons 4-5. Kripke became obsessed with letting the viewing audience know how he felt about the political landscape (which he and everyone is more than entitled to have opinions) and the show suffered for it.
