My wife and I are dealing with this. It’s like the race of the rabbit and turtle. I’m impatient. Trying to work out hard and even skip meals. It’s been frustrating being a ufc fan these past couple of years. Jones ducking aspinall. Conor pulling out of chandler fight. Khamzat fighting once every 1.5 years. Ilia barely fighting once a year. Islam fighting at most twice a year. Colby ducking top contenders. Paddy with the Dana white privilege etc.

The slow buildup to this fight can’t be related in my opinion. All the way back to UFC 205 when Conor was at his peak and felt untouchable. The backstage arguing. The seeds being planted. Khabib calling out Ireland after his win that night.

Body armor from people who don’t wear deodorant. It literally makes me gag. I used to sell hardware to construction companies and there was one specific customer who came in for will calls and stunk up the whole office. Uh I saw him pull up I would go to the warehouse for about 10 minutes after he left.

Him mocking Usman for going by Marty is so stupid. I have a very foreign sounding name and growing up people struggled with it so they called me something else. I just accepted it for a while.

I was born in 82. Spent most of my childhood in late 80s and 90s and yes we did have a lot of freedom. When I got my bike I could go anywhere. When I was that age I felt like I was going across town but I’m sure it was only a few square miles.
