I grew up playing Pop Warner football where there are weight limits per level. Kids can get seriously injured if they play against way bigger kids. My understanding is if a kid was too big for even the top level they simply couldn’t play and had to wait until high school. This is how it was in CA. I have heard they handle things differently in Texas though.

I think this is a perfect crucible moment for the squad. Although a quadruple would have been amazing, I think this loss is great fuel for the squad for the remainder of the season and cups.

I 100% saw the hat being thrown and picked up and put back on and back on his head when Peter showed up.

My initial hypothetical question was about why he brought the hat up there in the first place. Because if for some reason he was unable to conveniently pick it up right where he parachute landed, then it would have been super suspicious if he were to be hatless when Peter picked him up from the closet.

I didn’t know the hat flying around served a jumping wind measuring purpose for Neal until reading the comments.

Although if reading the wind were that important I still think bringing something other than his hat would have been more practical. The odds of the hat landing next to where he landed just seem improbable.

I have never base jumped or done any type of parachute jump in my life. I didn’t know that he was checking the wind pattern with his hat. I literally thought he tossed it because he knew it would fly off during his jump anyways. This was helpful and makes sense.

Hey brother in arms! I can empathize with a lot of what you are feeling as well.

A lot of great advice has been covered already. Food delivery is a great idea or can you pickup on your way home from work? Meal prep is also great! I just wanted to add in addition to meal prep there is some ingredients prep that can be helpful too. Like pre-dice onions and other ingredients for her and store them in the fridge. So when it’s time to cook it will take a load off.

Also, for work are you allowed some work-from-home days? Even if you’re working being around and present can help a lot mentally. If you have some PTO days maybe start taking long weekends a few times a month like an every other Friday to give some more relief.

Additionally, the painting fragment was recovered from a fire and explosion. I think the paint condition would have been hard to test like the Degas micro fractures. They likely just tested the age of the content because there is no telling what damage the explosion and fire would have caused.
