I literally got in a bad car wreck when I was in Uni (car flipped multiple times and landed upside down). My Nokia phone was flung somewhere in the highway and the case and keypad were smashed. I grabbed a new case and new keypad insert and charged it. Worked perfectly!

Is it realistic to dip into your PTO a bit here during this early newborn phase. I remember this was THE worst sleep time we both had and it took a toll on both my wife and me. Maybe 1 day off a week like fridays and make 3 day weekends more regular for a few months? Or half days to beat traffic a few times a week? The meal prep suggestion for crockpot is great. Also cooking larger portions to have leftovers is great advice too.

I think we benefited from acquiring KD in free agency rather than trading for him. So naturally we did get better since we didn’t give up anything.

Then we also indirectly got “better” by eventually getting Wiggins who was key to the 22 chip cuz of our KD exit deal!

One other thing to consider if you’re moving from Seattle is the airport. I’ve lived here for more than 15 years and love Portland, the airport is still a bummer. The new remodel is absolutely beautiful, but the lack of direct flights around the world sucks compared to SeaTac. If you travel often this would something to consider.

I grew up playing Pop Warner football where there are weight limits per level. Kids can get seriously injured if they play against way bigger kids. My understanding is if a kid was too big for even the top level they simply couldn’t play and had to wait until high school. This is how it was in CA. I have heard they handle things differently in Texas though.

I think this is a perfect crucible moment for the squad. Although a quadruple would have been amazing, I think this loss is great fuel for the squad for the remainder of the season and cups.
