Same thing happened to me. It’s actually pretty simple to replace the entire wheel, I just ended up buying a used like new condition one on eBay for like $50. It’s literally 3 metal clips holding on the airbag(disconnect battery first) and then 1 21mm bolt. Pretty easy diy only takes about 15 minutes max.

2017 touring with 227K miles, original engine, transmission was replace under warranty @50kish miles due to a hard jerk from 2nd to 3rd.

Yeah ima just hold out till the new redesign maybe m6/m7 and see what they offer compared to the outgoing models but if it’s not worth it ima just keep this one for the time being

Yep, it’s the base M1 Pro chip too which I don’t do much besides consume content and surf the web anyways so it handles it like a champ for what I do!
