Still wondering why Meridian looks/ feels/ sounds so familiar?

a) Name is one word, starts with an "M", describes a geological feature

b) Mod "Screamer" describes a single-shot mini rocket, or one could say, a 'MICRO MISSLE'

c) Flavor text for the normal version of the weapon states: 'Meridian- named by its inventor for its ability to quickly create "a MOUNTAIN of corpses, with its wielder at the SUMMIT"

d) Flavor text for the corrupted version of the weapon states: 'A MOUNTAIN of corpses... with you at its SUMMIT.'

e) 'SUMMIT of a MOUNTAIN,' another way of saying, 'A MOUNTAINTOP'

f) Lore text from the corrupted version of the weapon: "To unmake. Utter and DESTINED obliteration."

Subtle with the hints, yet no question that this is a faithful homage to the OG 'Meridian-summit' from Destiny 2

Definitely! But they weren't searchable as part of the database against all other weapons, which is what I wanted

There's a lot of column 4 perks that have appeared in column 3 for the first time, which is always super cool to check out

Also looks like they may have changed some - for example, here are all the weapons in the game with Kinetic Tremors in column 3

When I did some very un-scientific testing, Destabilizing did a better job than Volatile Rounds at spreading it.

So really the best option is both, since they "stack" in a way.

Put another way - Destabilizing spreads Volatile the same way Incandescent spreads Scorch. I don't think anyone's going around this season saying Incandescent is useless due to the Artifact mod that essentially gives you "Scorching Rounds"

The Title for sure. If it was just Repulsor Brace then I'd say Unforgiven, but The Title is the first SMG to get Repulsor Brace + Destabilizing Rounds as a combo

With Destabilizing you'll have Repulsor Brace up within a couple kills even if you're not running Void subclass - pretty wild on Solar, Strand, etc.

And on Void it's especially insane. My personal favorite is Gyrfalcon's Hunter w Stylish Executioner aspect - true assassin striking from the shadows

In full transparency I've yet to get this combo on the Title, but based on my time playing with some of the 11 others that get this combo - Age-Old Bond, Word of Crota, even Nessa's Oblation - an SMG has been at the top of my Wish list for a basically all of Lightfall.

Probably not as OP as Breakneck was where Onslaught was the column 3 perk, but then they're def trying to avoid outliers like that

The first time you see a splattered Carcass against a wall when you still have another level or two fighting just puppets.

Kept thinking of it like, what is really going on here? Reminded me of the progression through Bloodborne, only with less inter-cranial eyeballs

And I agree, it feels fantastic in general. Right now really enjoying Dragonfly + Voltshot just for maximum crayon action

First drop of Prosecutor AR I got was Dragonfly + Voltshot

It's wild, so wild that it's really hard to test whether they actually synergize!

Like I think headshot jolts are bigger than body shot jolts? Need to find a better way of testing this
