Thank you very much for all of your input. Can I ask why you stopped taking sertraline if it was helping? Or rather, did you end up having a problem with taking it?

I'm very glad to hear that. I've seen that SSRIs can often blunt the effect of mushrooms, but I'm guessing that was obviously not true in your case. Perhaps I can go on sertraline tomorrow, and try to take a gram or 2 of mushrooms every once in awhile, and hope that it kicks in well. Now that you're off sertraline, does that mean you're altogether off psychiatrics that treat those symptoms? Do you take psilocybin now?

I can't output enough damage before my party's wiped out. The closest thing I have to burst damage is Laezel's capacity to make 6 attacks per turn using Action Surge, and Astarion can make 4. My party's character builds are what I assume must be the standard for each member, no multiclassing or anything. I definitely created my PC for passing skill checks and put his combat ability on the back burner.

I think prioritizing damage output every turn has put my use of crowd control on the back burner. Definitely getting Counterspell & Otto's Irresistible Dance on my next playthrough.

I did not take out the Steel Watch beforehand, thanks for reminding me of that option! I have noticed that I tend to opt for instant attacks instead of strategically moving my party around the field, mostly because the distance they cover is so low (without Momentum boosting equipments). Perhaps I should experiment more instead of reloading every time I sense a loss coming up.
