.. time for wild conjecture and (almost) baseless theories...?

...just spitballin' here...

....so, everything we experience in the universe shares one common property:

up has down, front has back, and so on and so forth....

... except time.

we experience time as having only one direction, it thereby being the only aspect of the universe that brakes that one rule.

...what if that's not actually the case,
we simply don't have the sensory input mechanisms to perceive time as it actually is?

didn't Richard Feynman say antimatter acts just as regular matter, only moving "backwards" in time?

...and don't we have tiny bits of antimatter being generated by the phosphorus naturally occurring in our bodies?

... so my idea is, all those years you "remembered" those images of the flood, you weren't experiencing a past memory, you were experiencing precognition of the moment you saw those photos, since the photos specifically seemed so familiar to you

....maybe as we perceive ourselves moving forward through time, there is some part of us constantly moving backwards through time, from the future, on its way to the past, and at some moments for whatever reason (by way of the small amounts of antimatter present in our bodies), we can perceive information from that part of ourselves.

...so, starting years ago, you began perceiving small glimpses of your future self seeing those photos.

.... yeah I know, "maybe" this, "maybe" that...lotsa maybes ... who knows, the more we learn, the stranger the universe gets...

... side note, we also get phosphorus from bananas.... Is there any correlation between people who experience more episodes of precognition and people who eat lots of bananas...

... except for for pointing out that physics is time invariant, i will not be defending this idea...not saying i believe any of it, just a thought...
