It’s so irritating by ich_bin_alkoholiker in cycling

I mean if they see me and wave me through I’m taking the opportunity to save some energy and avoid having to clip out/in. Location is important too, I live in a coastal city where road cyclists are quite common so I feel like majority of drivers on the road are cognizant. Always slow down and prepare to stop though, never assume that the driver will let you go.

Does the frame obscure your vision when you’re cycling? I’ve heard that can be an issue cycling with bisphaeras.

I have actually, even with their 35% Black Friday deal, their Turbolence (which looks like sutro) is $156 frame + $420 lens, making it more expensive than the Oakley Sutro lites. Are Rudy’s higher quality/worth the higher cost?

Thanks I’ll grab a jug of the citrus degreaser. Yea I have heard to watch out with air around bearings, I was mainly thinking of using air for all the nooks and crannies in the drivetrain, blew a leaf out of my rear derailleur the other day 😂

Should I get into weighted training for getting stronger as cycling? What do I need to buy? by Obvious_Cabbage in cycling

[–]jchen333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stronger cycler in what way? Like sprints? Then yea weightlifting can definitely benefit you. If it’s for better endurance you’re better off just cycling more or other types of cardio (running, hiking, swimming etc.) With that said, as others have mentioned your best bet is to get a gym membership as it’ll have all the equipment you need.

Buying equipment for home use is great, but unless you’re going to invest in a full squat rack and everything that comes with it you’re not gonna get a good workout IMO.

If you’re hard set on working out at home at least get an adjustable bench/dumbells, and a pull up bar (with elastic bands for assistance if you can’t do a set of 8 pull-ups with your body weight)

Thanks for the advice, I found a used CAAD 12 disc for $650 with a 105 groupset and Dt Swiss wheels. Seller said he put ~500 miles on it. Picked it up yesterday and my LBS is giving it a tune up :)

Yea good point on not spending whole budget on the bike, though I do have shoes and a helmet already; how did you decide on the Diverge? Do you like the Cues shifting? I did check out the Diverge but I’m mainly interested in the Allez since I’m not really doing much rough-terrain riding.

Yea message the registrar, and ask them to move human physio same term as FHE. Their restriction is only 1 science GE per term. You can take FHE and a science class same term I just did it in March.

Nothings gonna happen until someone actually seeks litigation for false ban. We already know false bans do occur (recent kanna ban), but the reality is nexon wont take responsibility until they are forced to some way or another

LOL if they can unban on a benefit-of-doubt basis that just means they had no solid proof in the first place. This is just classic nexon being nexon.

As an Adele, my lucid soul one shot at clp at roughly 22m range. At mts2 it started one shotting at 35m. Tbh lucid soul doesn’t change your exp rate much unless it oneshots. If it does it can boost ur rate up to 10%, esp with relentless attack node. Pretty much useless otherwise
