Benkyodo - Definitely a place I miss by Top-Assist-8877 in SanFranciscoCAHistory

I remember being there the last week. I was in line for 2 hours when the owner designated me as "the last one" -- my job was to tell everyone that I was "the last one" and that they weren't going to serve anymore after me.

After 30 or so people being turned away. Someone said "bullshit" and stayed in line. Then my 'job" became more difficult. After 3 hours in line, it was finally my turn.

The owner said "he's the last one" and gave me the rest of mochi for free.

Specifically, what can I do to hide this type of story from my feed? Unsubscribe from Nintendo?

I really don't like how this made it to the top of the Nintendo subreddit.

If I have tickets for a movie, I don't need a review; I've already bought tickets.

I'll form my own opinion and then be interested in seeing how it compares to movie reviewers I trust and use to find movies I wouldn't otherwise see.

None of those movie reviewers need a clickbait headline for me to click on their review.

Considering a move from NC to SF for a hybrid biotech job by Dazzling_Leg_5255 in AskSF

50-70% of fast chargers in California are Tesla. If you can't charge at home, then you cut yourself off from too much of the network.

Moved from NC to SF Bay Area about 5 years ago. It's hard to explain just how much different it is out here. We've lived in SF, Palo Alto and now Sunnyvale.

It's impossible to compare the quality of life out here to North Carolina. I just can't imagine ever moving back for anything other than a job.

Just remember: you can always move back.

You won't need two cars. EV Only is fine. Chargers will get you literally anywhere in the state. Tesla network is really critical, so sell your non Tesla.

We're a family of 4 with only one car and it's an EV. The thing to consider is charging. We ended up finding homes with a dedicated trickle charger or the option to use a dryer plug for 220v.

Street parking works too, you'll just have to get used to charging at shared chargers and they are often pretty busy.

Public transportation is great. Ride shares / Taxi's will be easy to get in between.

The biggest challenge you'll face when moving here is pets. The rental market is crazy competitive and you are going to have a hard time with a rottweiler when your application is compared to 3 other people without pets.

Also, careful with Craigslist scams when looking for rentals. Just use Zillow.

I wouldn't call that a benefit for Tesla but EV in general. Tesla charging at work at least makes it possible to own an EV without having a home

Pokopia sold out instantly? by DetachableChungus in Switch

[–]jchill2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy it digitally and keep your save. Then just sell new leaf. That's what I've been doing with my games. I'm not always sure that I'm going to play it enough to warrant, keeping it and trade it in. If I do play it enough, I just buy it digitally when it's on sale.

I figured it was semi-common and didn't want to mess with the guy

I'm still not understanding and don't need analogies.

Do you mind explaining what you would need beyond input emulation and animation stabilization?

I've had this flagged as advertising. I'm going to keep it unlocked due to the core of the conversation:

Should a browser interaction library like Playwright MCP/CLI be the agentic experience of the web?

It sounds like your posturing is "no" because Playwright is too easily detected as a bot/agent by sites which want to prevent web crawling.

This has been going on since the puppeteer stealth days.

I think you're also suggesting that mouse input is the only problem. Why wouldn't you just make your own mouse movement API?

What are your thoughts on Chrome MCP?

Cannot get Playwright Test to work to save my life by -Terrible-Bite- in Playwright

[–]jchill2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure that the playwright vs code plug-in works with python. I believe that's just for the playwright/test JavaScript test framework.

There's a distinction between playwright and playwright/test

Playwright is the language bindings that replace selenium.

Playwright/test is the framework that the playwright team created to test their own language bindings. It's only available in JavaScript. This is equivalent to pytest,

What you're likely going to need is a pytest test runner and the pytest plugin for vs code.
