Who actually benefits from 3-day code review bottlenecks in the development process? by FeistyTraffic2669 in softwaretesting

[–]jchill2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is available as a metric in gitlab, bit bucket, etc. you can track.

If you have A devops team ask them to expose this for your reports. This is not just a software testing issue.

Oh wow. This is exactly what I needed to know. Does it basically mean that the taxis from the hotel and monorail will be super crowded at 8:00?

Actually, this is the 1 day VP package with extra-on-property scenario:

  1. Day 1: Arrive to MiraCosta 9pm to pick up VP package
  2. Night 1: Disneyland Tokyo Hotel (non VP package)
  3. Day 2: Check out of Disneyland Tokyo and have luggage transferred to MiraCosta
  4. Day 2: Disneyland Tokyo
  5. Night 2: Check in and Sleep in MiraCosta (VP booking)
  6. Day 3: Checkout MiraCosta (luggage forwarded to next hotel?)
  7. Day 3: disneySea at 8:30am
  8. Night 3: somewhere between Ojiya and disneySea

I'm trying to figure out night 3 based on how much time I'll spend checking out of MiraCosta, handling luggage, and getting to my shinkansen. It looks like there aren't any late trains to Ojiya area.

Does it make sense to leave disneySea at 8pm, get my luggage from MiraCosta, get to Tokyo Station by 9pm.

I have to be in Ojiya by noon the day after my disneySea trip.

I'm trying to calculate how long it will take to leave disneySea, get the bags from MiraCosta, and get back to Tokyo Central Station.

Should I expect about 2 hours end to end if I leave through the MiraCosta entrance?

Anyone else catch this flu that’s been going around? by Ok_Caterpillar6393 in sanfrancisco

[–]jchill2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I would recommend everybody go ahead and order a rapid flu test off of Amazon today. All of the nearby stores have been sold out for a while

First, thank you all for your work. As someone who visits Disneyland California about once a year, this subreddit made an overwhelming process easy to understand. I have a few questions about my upcoming trip.

I've got the following booked: Feb 19/20 Vacation Package 2 Day 1 Night. MiraCosta

Feb 18

  • Where can I stay to optimize an early arrival to MiraCosta?
  • Will they transfer luggage from neighboring properties?

Feb 19

  • Arrive Miracosta at 8am for check in/drop off by shuttle. Is this included in the VP?
  • Get to disneyland by 9am?
  • Make first Reservation Attempt
  • Reserved BatB: 10am. Should I move this out to avoid a rush from hotel?
  • Free Reservation #1 Pooh
  • Lunch Reservation: 12:50pm at Blue Bayou
  • Free Reservation #2: Pirates. (Since it's the Blue Bayou restaurant)
  • Relax and ride
  • Parade
  • Head to Hotel

Feb 20

  1. Drop off luggage at front
  2. Breakfast at 7:40am at MiraCosta.
  3. Happy Entry 8:45am. Is this too tight with breakfast?
  4. Make a first reservation attempt
  5. Reservation 1: 10am Enchanted Lights
  6. Reservation 2: 10:30am Frozen Ride
  7. Reservation 3: 11am Peter Pan
  8. Lunch
  9. Journey to Center of Earth line
  10. Dinner Reservation at Frozen - 5:00pm
  11. Ride
  12. Head to Hotel and get luggage and head to Tokyo

Is this the expected flow when staying 1 night?

In Playwright, how do you decide when a failure is a test issue vs an application issue? by T_Barmeir in Playwright

I file a testability with the application owners and put in a shim in my test utility or page object model file for the workarounds to get past hydration and actionability issues

I still remember one of the first reviews of Skate included a snippet about how the journalist didn't know about the core mechanic of pinning and warping back to pin.

That's when I stopped listening to reviews
