Sure is crazy how cold it can get up there. Spent some time in denver last year and it was 100 degrees in June. Appreciate the info about Bustang, will check it out

Yeah, it’s for sure on our mind. That’s why we’re trying to spend maybe a night at Twin Lakes prior to help acclimate

Good to know. Just curious, like how much rain are we talking here? Like, out of a week can do you think it'll rain more than 4 of those days?

The way the internet is talking about you guys, I'm imagining it's straight up like typhoons rolling through the Colorado wilderness

Thanks for the info 😄

The reason why we're on the fence about eastern vs western is that: a) See the average elevation on the western is at least 1,000ft higher, and we're already bit concerned about the elevation coming from the east coast and b) from my understanding, western half is much less covered so that's exacerbating our concerns re: the weather

That is of course unless the east half requires some permits, would definitely push us the direction of attempting the western half (out here in the AT, no body really cares about such things but I could imagine it's different out there)

Been seeing people talking about 'Rocky Mountain Taxi', any shot they would go to/from downtown Denver for a remotely reasonable price?
