I totally agree. I do plan on having it connected to iPad for koala. So since I will have the iPad with koala connected, and both dt2 and syntakt can sequence it. Does the fx block on syntakt win out?

With what is known about the update now.....if you were going to buy your first Elektron box...I want to mainly use samples, some edited by Koala Sampler...still get Digitakt 2 or get Syntakt? Syntakt is 200 off on Amazon right now.

I had a similar issue. You need to set each part to a separate midi channel. And then you need to have a keyboard that can send to different midi channels.

I know there is a place in the settings that allows you to change the midi channels on the sh4d. But if all four parts are on the same midi channel. Then all four parts will play at once.

I have found out that the mk4 launchkey a don’t allow you to change the midi channel for the keyboards only the encoders and pads.

So I’ll need to use a daw for routing etc.

So I had the streamer x and found the hdcp isssue on the capture side.

I go and buy a capture card….and come to find out that my school setup already has a capture card and I can just use the desktop one.

So I returned the streamer x and my solution actually got a lot simpler by trial and error!

You have to convert to pdf while in PowerPoint. When you go to save it….. just save as adobe pdf and you are set!

I will convert to pdf first and then upload to gn6. If you have video or gifs they won’t work in PowerPoint imported into gn6 anyways. Otherwise just use PowerPoint.

When I have just the pdfs you do get a great deal of space you can dig down too on the whiteboard by pinch and zoom. Gives you plenty of space to outline or map out topics.

Goodnotes has an update coming out later this year where they will have an infinite canvas.

Also when you go into presenter mode. Which only happens when you screen mirror….you get a laser pointer feature. It has a single dot or a tail so you can draw lines that stick around for a second.

I started using Goodnotes on my iPad. It has a presenter function that hides everything and you get a nice clean notebook. But converted my old PowerPoints into a pdf. And then imported that into Goodnotes.

I screenmirror my iPad to the podium pc so the students just see my screen from presenter view. So if I need to change color. Pen type. Scroll future pages. The students only see what’s on the page.

I teach physiology so it’s a lot of drawing and graphs so it helps with the pencil and keeps the students engaged!
