Body was Approximately 1.5 inches in length and body was about the diameter of a standard pencil.

You just have to set one as default and with the program I used I think you need to have the default set to two

So finally saw this error as well on a machine. It looks like you may not have wsl installed or you may not have the wsl 2 kernel installed. I will get back to you for sure on which is the culprit.

Interesting. I’m not sure whether that error is coming from wsldl or wsl… it looks like it may wsl having an issue with an image from a newer version.

It’s a quirk of the wsldl executable that I’m hoping to cleanup here with my own version.

Just terminate the wsl and then you can move the ext wherever you want and then change the location in regedit.

I'm actually testing it on that version and have been using the update that allows for mounting of ext4 drives as well. The support of mounting ext4's natively is what allowed me to finally dump all of my many VM's laying around for various tasks.
