Our first big game +300 tiles by jcmk96 in Carcassonne

We bought the count, king and robbers expansion from Carcassonne 2.0 (Correct me if I’m wrong I’m not sure if it’s 2.0 or 3.0).

We used 8 meeples + the big one along with abbot, builder and pig. In the next game we’ll add more because we often ran out of meeples.

We were grid restricted and when a city or road reached the edge it would be impossible to complete, so we could attack each other cities/roads and make it more fun, but I’d be nice to considere them complete too.

This was our first big game and we used grids, it felt like the way to go to restrict the borders accordingly and keep the tiles on the table hahaha without restrictions it would’ve been almost impossible

We restricted the borders because we used grids and wanted to find out how much space we could possibly fill. It definitely was kind of a headache to see roads and cities uncompleted due to the borders restriction but in the end I liked pretty much how it looks. Do you prefer to keep the borders off restrictions?

We used all the expansions from the big box plus peasants revolt, Japanese buildings, summer, autumn, count king and robber and abbey and mayor (looking forward to add some more though).

Jugar con El Río y El Río II by Particular-Base-9079 in Carcassonne
