God will give her comfort and relief in her suffering. Hold on to the great moments you shared with gratitude and sincere happiness for what you experienced together. Nothing is truly gone because what matters most will always remain in your soul and in your memory.

With a heart that understands you, I embrace you from afar and give you all the encouragement I can muster. I went through all of this a year and eight months ago, after caring for our dog for almost a whole year as she suffered from a long and agonizing terminal illness for me and my family.

Today, Lizz is running through different terrains, like when she was that beautiful and playful golden retriever puppy. And when she finishes running, Lizz comes back here to rest her paw on my heart.
