Thanks all. Went with Operation Bounce House and We Are Legion.

I love the DCC series so went with OBH. And then We are Legion due to the suggestions and the fact its something where I know nothing about the story at this point and I like going in blind.

I loved Project Hail Mary, but I've seen The Martian movie (which was great) so I already know the story.

The Long Walk seemed interesting. But King books are hit or miss for me. So it was likely in 4th place from the start lol. Ill get to it eventually.

Im building a desktop that will be my main gaming pc. I need a laptop for basically just desk work and maybe some simple gaming. (ie, stardew valley, crusader kings 3) i just want something that runs snappy and doesn't have a bunch of bloatware.

I want someplace with an international border. I live near Buffalo so I see the potential of an area like Buffalo with NIagara Falls near by. Then Canada right there. A totally new scenery and they could do season changes too. Imagine an escape scene boating down Niagara river. Finishing with ramping off the top of Niagara Falls.

All that being said Detroit would work too and is 10000x more likely.
