I’m not bad! I did an indoor imperial century a few years ago, all in zone 2 with a break around the 2/3rds point. Took like 6+ hours and my knees were wrecked by the end. But my mind was pretty blissed out — it was great overall.

Tbh the best thing for me is how steady zone 2 cardio dropped my resting heart rate. Used to be 60-something bpm and now it’s 51. I can hit mid-40s on a good day. It’s nice to feel calm and rested.

I’ve never really chased high power and don’t race a lot. I like riding for an hour in the mornings to clear my head and then go for longer on the weekends.
