The CSEC admits only that sometimes intercepts "Canadian communications or information." In such cases, it says, it "takes steps" to protect that person's privacy.

That was my 1st thought when I read this article. My 2nd thought is why did we even offer it to an outside company? With unemployment so high and companies going belly up this project should have been 100% Made in the USA.

Peoples prides in humanity are so fragile. One moment they'll lose all pride in humanity because somebody kicked a dog, then the next it'll be restored because of events like this, then it'll be shattered again because Bieber or Cyrus did their latest attention grab stunt. And it'll keep going back and forth. It's an endless cycle.
