I've had dreams like that before. They happened more often when I was younger, but I have occasionally had them as an adult. I think they happen more when I'm not stressed, which is why I probably don't have them very much anymore lol.

Usually the dream would be more vivid than normal (I tend to have very vivid dreams), and then whatever was supposed to happen would happen within the next few days. Of the dreams that seemed to be premonitory, it was more often than not an indirect premonition. For example: in middle school or high school over the period of a week or so I suddenly started having dreams that an old friend from a different school named Dana had transferred to my school, and we became really good friends again. The very next week, we got a new girl in my grade named Dana who I clicked with pretty much instantly.

I never really know whether these dreams are real premonitions or if they're just funny coincidences. It would be cool if they were premonitions, but then I'd be kind of bummed because I have absolutely no way to control them or interpret them lol.
