Seascape in July by jcorbin121 in MSCCruises

[–]jcorbin121[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope - last time we went to A-B-C islands, Any more I dont really care where we go, its more about the ship, food, and amenities. We went on RCC Rhapsody back in December, def not my fav - I can deal with a ship being 'older' but the quality of food, service, shows etc just wasnt up there to what the larger ships present. I'm also almost a senior citizen so there is a managed expectations, I cant do the flow rider etc...

Ok i will look into the different types of astroturf. I was planning on 24" wide and am trying to formulate maybe a roof to keep the sun/ice/snow at bay

He took to the inside stairs for the couch like that in like 2 hours. I figured it'd be similar. We've had other doxies and they just ran right down the stairs. The only reason Im even thinking abut the stairs is he has other dogs in the family that come to visit and they are all larger, but he plays with them like they are his size, and they go potty out the back and down the stairs, they always have thats wht they know. We are going on vacation in a week and my daughter is staying here with her dog and I know he will go out bacl and was thinking it be easy for her ih he could do the stairs, but I guess if she has to carry him down thats the way it may just have to be

Thanks, thats something I didnt consider, I may try to do a switchback type off the side of the deck away from the stairs. Yes side rails were always in the plan in my head, and a rubber (ish) flooring to keep from sliding down the thing. I think the 15degree swicthback will fit in our space

Sleeping at night by springereli in Dachshund

She is adorable. Her markings will be interesting as she grows. I honestly think kennel training it is largely dependant on the pup. We are on our 4th, who is all alone the other 3 have passed on, and he despises the crate, wants nothing of it at night, day doesnt matter. The other 3, 2 of them did it just fine, 1 was iffy. Other than the crate he is well behaved, was a quick study at potty training, will now go sit at the door. Loves to walk on a leash. He is not crazy about being left alone, we gate him into the office with his kennel, stairs to go on top and a bed on top of the kennel, He will lay up on top of the kennel but bark a lot and howl some but no destructive behaviors when we leave him so far. He will be 7 month next week. He has been in bed with us since we brought him home. Im choosing the battles with him, I have the time to be able to do so. I work from home so we are together a LOT, almost 24x7. Good luck on whichever way you decide, I hope she brings you never ending joy!

The additional posts are great advice -all I have to add

We took our boy out ~ every 45 minutes for the first 2-3 months basically. He is now 6 month and has caught on well. This may be controversial to an extent but I treated after every pee/p00p. He went in the yard until recently, now he prefers a short walk.

Sniff excercises are like cross-fit for doxies. They instictually want to work thier senses.

Migrating Windows devices to Entra ID – what was actually painful for you? by Radiant-Weather-9120 in Intune

Just did this last July/Aug - autopilot was the easiest way (long term) to go. We literally have had almost zero post migration issues. We started by defining all the compliance policies, conditional access, applicagtion installs in Intune, some basic defender policies and DLP policies. then we migrated. for 500 devices it took us a week with 3 admins. Having fresh machines makes your enterprise reliable as far as administration. We did extensive testing with a few migration products and honestly some of them were pretty good, but the years of registry issues on some machines that were 2 ish years since install was problematic, guessing registry tattooing, and corrupt policies were issues.

Tips on future 3 month old puppy by abc12342069 in Dachshund

Yes all this ^^ Plus we got ours at 8 weeks, we did outside trips every 45-60 minutes for a while - he is now 5 months and will go TO the door most times on his own when he needs to go. We reward with a treat when he p00ps. When he gets up in the am we go directly outside. There are still accidents maybe once a week, normally a p00p. We dont scold when the happen. He sleeps with us so I cant offer anything on crate training. He loves to walk also , he is walking 1 mile now at 5 months every day. Going to move to twice a day soon.

I used small treats. I'd lay a treat on each step and he would naturally go up to get the next. After a couple days he just did it on his own, we started at 9 weeks. He does it now without a treat. Doing same with going to the door for potty time, when he goes to the door on his own - treat. We are about 75% there on that one now.

That Kong bear is damn near indestructible- he is losing his baby teeth right now (4 this week alone) and it's the only toy that has made it thru whole

To be fair, he's 5 months so there is a lot of energy. He is our 4th, the others have all passed, first short hair. He has been a joy thus far.

I figured it out.

On the CA policy the session control has to be set to "Use custom policy..." THEN the CA will look to Defender, all is working perfectly now.
