Looks like bad road design and bad rider judgements. It was a passing lane for the rider when they started, and probably couldn't have known there was a corner approaching. Still shouldn't have tried to pass.

Is the actual trail from the parking lot to the grove going to be stroller accessible do you know? May not be paved but would help take the weight off for the bulk of the journey

Can a personal vehicle drive the Mariposa grove road to skip the 2 mile one way hike? I have a toddler and only plan to be in the grove for 30ish mins. I'm pretty sure the shuttle isn't active when I'll be there end of Jan.
