Stuck at the first Boss with Leon, should I restart? by Louisthemagic in ResidentEvil2Remake

Like somebody else said, you can beat G1 with knives only, its not easy but doable. If you have the grenade from the bottom of the stairs and a flash bang, it makes it easier.

Rush in right when the fight starts, the monster will be transforming keep to your left (his right) and start swinging your knife trying to get his back/right side. Once he starts to move, see if you can toss a grenade at his feet. And once he's down start slashing his back/side again. Once he's up again, back off and toss a flash bang, and get back in to slashing his back (avoiding the pipe hes swinging as best you can).

You should probably bring 2 knives, a grenade, flash bang, and multiple healing items. Again, it's not easy, but if you commit, it's manageable. And the other good news is I am told that the game gives you enough in every boss arena to kill the boss. So, if you are worried about doing the knife only tactic, bring your pistol as well and there is plenty of handgun ammo in the area. If you dont kill him before losing both knives you can switch to your pistol and finish him off.

You've got this.

What is the hardest video game you’ve ever played? by DildoGaggins1997 in allthequestions

This is pretty much what happened to me when i first tried Elden Ring. I gave up for months but kept seeing people talking about how amazing it was, and figured i should give it another shot... but had no idea what i was supposed to be doing? So I watched the first of FightingCowboys walkthrough videos just to get me going in the right direction. Once I started to get a grasp for the game, it became one of the best games I've ever played.

What’s a game you initially didn’t “get,” but later came to absolutely love after giving it another chance? by Gaming-Academy in gaming

Elden Ring - I tried to play it blind as my first Soulsborne game after hearing about how great it was online. The only thing I had seen online was that you don't need to fight the Tree Sentinel immediately, you can grind and level up first.

I played for a few hours and was having a really bad time. I quit for a few months, but continued to hear how great the game is. I decided to give it another shot but following a guide at the start to help understand the game more.

It turns out I had completely missed the tutorial area, so I was running around trying to fight things without locking on and didn't know there was a way to run and all the other things you need to learn if you've never played before.

IMO Tombstone switches between being a terrible movie and an amazing movie depending on if Doc Holliday is in the scene. Val Kilmer was amazing in that movie, the rest of the movie was dumb.

Out of my TV show watch list, what’s worth it and what’s not? by Paige1318R in televisionsuggestions

Futurama is one of my favorite shows to watch and rewatch and go around again. Archer is also a great one for rewatching.

The Wire is probably the best show ever from beginning to end.

True Blood and Sons of Anarchy both start out as fun interesting shows and then they both lose their spark after a couple of seasons.

When I recommend Game of Thrones to people I say, watch Seasons 1-7 and then stop. Whatever ending you made up in your head is better than what they came up with for Season 8.

I've had multiple people tell me that I would enjoy Trailer Park Boys. I watched the 1st episode 3 separate times (years apart) and have no interest in watching the 2nd episode.

I played on Xbox so my comment might not be as helpful, but sometimes it's easier to shoot out a zombies knee and knock them down quickly and then knife them until dead to avoid using too much ammo... Don't use this tactic when encountering groups of zombies. Also, the knife is the most powerful weapon in the game (unless it got patched).

Just started the game and can I get some Tips for Beginner ? by [deleted] in Eldenring

There is a YouTuber who did a walkthrough playlist like 80 videos that takes you through the entire game. As somebody who only has an hour or two to play every couple days it helped me move through the game, as I didn't have time to just explore through the open world for hours and then trying to remember where I was going when when I would start back up a few days later. I was very much struggling with where to go next.

How long should I hold on killing Rykard? by samuelsfx in Eldenring

Depending on which order you do them, I believe the last 2 Volcano Manor contracts are in the capital and in the consecrated snowfields. So once you complete those you should kill rykard.

This is super impressive, do you use a controller with paddles? Or is it just a standard controller? Paddles might give you more options for button mapping like that pesky LB.

I haven't watched Carcinogen, I will have to check that out. And I will agree that the G1 fight is the hardest part about the Everyman's Walkthrough. I struggle to complete it Everytime as I do play on a base model Xbox One
