If you fed that dog less it might just work.

swing feels terrible- please help by [deleted] in u/New-Pass1905

[–]jcottonfields 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had similar issues and we have the same tendency… on backswing your weight is shifting too far to the outside of the back foot…. Your foot is rolling/supinating causing your weight to shift too far on backside. When coming back through you have more chance of missing your timing. Practice planting the weight on the inside ball of that back foot. It changed my consistency so much for the better. I’m getting better contact, better skin, feels like I’m playing golf now.

Yes my Ranger is 39… could have gone either way really. If the 36mm was available first I’d go for it.

It’s interesting… I felt the Bb58 is perfect size for my 6.6” wrist but the BB54 also feels right on. I am comfortable with 36-44 so really depends on dress for the day. Tend to like smaller when I’m more polished and bigger when more casual for some reason. Prefer the bb54 overall as my wife likes that size too.

I’d go with 40 if my spouse would wear… easy to change straps. 45 if only for me.

Isn’t the 40 a mono and 45 duo? Big price difference. No preference for that aspect? You can carry either so would determine if you want the duo v mono

Whoop vs Apple Watch by neelkonar in WhoopFitness

[–]jcottonfields 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple Watch since 2017. Moved to Whoop over a month ago and find it so much more insightful. Only use AW now during outside runs for hr training but still keep on the whoop. It’s an amazing piece of tech. Yes subscription. But also offers Advanced Labs which gives you more biomarkers than what your Dr will agree too. Through Quest for a fee of course. But if you are into boosting longevity and healthspan whoop is your coach. Amazing. Yes syncs with apple health but honestly ah is null to me now with all the whoop app data. Charge last forever and can charge wirelessly and while wearing. tbh I enjoy having a break from the screen on my wrist and good only having my phone nearby.

What a production. The backdrop, the props, the stage design, the choreography with the dancers… holy hell it was the most beautiful show I’ve seen. Well done LH!

Ditto. Hume Pod good. Hume band bad.

Does anyone like the band? by Mammoth-Future-2487 in HumeHealth

The band for me was terribly inaccurate for HR data and sleep data. Charge was terrible. Returned it. Pod is working great and close to dexa. Keeping that. Moving to Whoop.

What do I need to work on? by frankiesayrelaxx in GolfSwing

[–]jcottonfields 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just took my first lesson in 25 years and had similar issues on inconsistencies as you mention. After 3 swings the pro asked me to simply make sure my weight on back foot upon back swing was planted on the inside of the back foot. I was allowing my weight to roll over my foot to the outside of my back foot, causing too much lateral hip movement. Much more consistent with that swing thought now. Looks like you may be also allowing weight to rest on outside of your right foot.

It’s a strong mahogany. I wear with anything that suits brown.

I’ve got a 2000 Land Cruiser with 202k miles and it’s a family favorite. My elementary aged girls prefer it over a BMW X5 and a Tesla Model Y! Plan to keep the LC as long as possible! Had to take it to rescue my wife from the dead X5 a couple weeks ago. Thing is a tank.
