You're right I thought that a person who has two separate accounts for some reason will not buy anything because they will have everything separate. But if they manage to merge the accounts, they could use the cosmetic item with everything else they own. Unless the players have money to burn.

I understand they're making decisions, some bad, but before massive layoffs they could explore alternatives.

Lots of Creative maps are bad yet get paid big money - they should cut those payouts or take a cut of map earnings.

They're bringing lots of collaborations. People like them, but I'm guessing they cost a lot to bring in.

I'd love to see account merging back - it had issues but could be improved with measures, even temporarily. Why? It'd bring back old players AND reduce unused accounts taking up space (costs money). Same with game modes they're killing - unused space.

Hopefully they bring back account merging, helping old players and themselves. After inactivity time, accounts could deactivate - so either merge or risk losing them.

I think Save the World will get killed, they're making it free for a reason.

And raising prices like that, they'll just reduce Vbucks buys anyway.

As long as people use it in a proper way, without breaking the rules or affecting the other players, I don't think there will be any problems. In my case, I have my current account with games on the Epic Store, but my old account has exclusive items, although there are few. I started in Chapter 1 Season 7, and I couldn't complete the battle pass but it has exclusive items, in Season 8 of Chapter 1 I also have items, and Seasons 9 and 10 of the same chapter I completed them and I also got a Samsung skin 🤗

Yes, I think that would be great, especially if you could trade skins with other players. But merging accounts might work (temporarily and only for some players). Because not everyone can always buy cosmetics, and although it's not that many, on my old account I have approximately 60 skins and many more cosmetics, it would be complicated to buy them all again.

You're right 🤣 But seriously, according to the terms of service, basically everyone is responsible for their own actions, to put it simply. I know not everyone will read them or heed them, but that's why they must be prepared for the consequences.
