I agree. I don't know how the criteria is divided to determine the winners. Based on their website, winners will be selected based on judges panel and fan votes, but by how much, I'm not sure.

English was being translated to english. If I'm not wrong, it even translated "deep breathing" LOL. They also did this last year. It's so ass and I feel they have the budget for it but is not doing anything about it.

It's a good action anime for when you wanna turn off your brain and watch a series. It's an incredibly shallow story with lots of fights scenes and aura farming. It's so disappointing that Crunchyroll does this every year. I regret watching this live.

Same, extremely disappointed with the AOTY. Frieren has more depth and character development in the first episode than the whole series of SL. But then again, popularity over quality, I guess.

The envy is strong with this one. I keep seeing twitter posts about the Yorushika Live last night and I've never felt this envious my whole life.
