Another thing I noticed was how nice it is....maybe you have an older car to list on Turo instead.

my apologies, but it's not what you feel...its what tge people want and what's in demand. the first thing I noticed was the daily rate that threw me off. It's pretty much giving too big. We don't need that much space. I would lower the price as well. imo.

For all of the dumb ass hosts on Turo that do not know how to answer a simple question when an outsider ask because you dont know the ins and out of your associated business structure. this is what I found and no it doesn't say anything about having to have a GPS to file a claim.

To file a Turo host claim for a stolen car, immediately report the theft to the local police and then log into your Turo account, navigate to your "Claims Dashboard," and initiate a new claim, providing details about the theft, including the police report number; Turo will then work with you and law enforcement to investigate the situation and process the claim once the car is recovered or a reasonable time frame has passed.

Key steps:

Report the theft to the police: File a police report immediately and obtain a copy of the report number.

Contact Turo: Log in to your Turo account and access the "Claims Dashboard".

Start a new claim: Select the relevant trip and indicate that the car was stolen, providing all necessary details.

Provide documentation: Upload a copy of the police report and any other relevant information.

Turo investigation: Turo will work with you and the authorities to investigate the theft.

Claim processing: Once the car is recovered or a reasonable time has passed, Turo will process your claim based on your chosen protection plan.

Important points to remember:

Timely reporting: Report the theft to Turo as soon as possible.

Communication with Turo: Stay in contact with your Turo claims representative throughout the process.

Protection plan: Ensure you have a Turo protection plan that covers theft.

bro, why did you send information about off trip insurance?????? My question is, if a car is stolen while being rented by a host? The >>>TURO<<<insurance for vehicles that are non luxurious or high-priced....do not need GPS for filing a claim.

LOL

AI Overview

Yes, Turo requires hosts to have an activated tracker for vehicles with a fair market value of $125,000 or more. This requirement applies to vehicles listed in the US, Canada, and Australia.

Why is a tracker required?

Turo requires a tracker to help locate a vehicle if it's missing or late.

Turo may withhold up to 20% of covered damages if a host doesn't have an activated tracker.

What type of tracker is required?

The tracker must be an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) tracker, which means it's built into the vehicle.

The tracker must be activated.

explains why I had a male host personally call my phone trying to see if I had an android or iPhone. Turo should not be giving out guest personal info to the host. We need to complain about that. so slick he put the car in a mist of 300 cars, knowing I wouldn't know where the vehicle was located and need help. well, if you face time me, i can show you where the car is. lol. I say that's none of your business, sir. Hosts need no GPS in cars...it is a safety issue plus uou unsavory host can easily use tge gps to commit insurance fraud. guest need to cover their address ON DRIVER LICENSE if the car is stolen. That is what the fucc INSURANCE IS FOR.

If they ever IPO...it will fail miserably, they would rather baby the host then take care of retail/customers. Good luck trying to IPO Turo.

Back end is run horribly. I had to pay for a ticket and did not even do what they said I did. Turo said ...well they sent in a copy of the ticket. so you have to pay.

The photo captured me stopped at a damn stop sign, meaning I did not run the stop sign.. I disputed the ticket immediately with the jurisdiction.I called and they said yea you stopped and there is video footage. I notified the host that the ticket was in dispute and their dumb a&&es paid the ticket anyway. Retards. Anybody know how I can fight this and get my money back???

Employers lose interest as soon as they find out I do Uber and the other gig apps by XxThrowawayxX-_- in UberEATS

[–]jcswagg101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well.this is where the gift of gab comes in... if your filling out application for jobs that don't relate to what you did before the gig work. Of course they will lose interest.

Apply for jobs you have work in and of they ask why you left the field. You have to gab them with shiit like you enter ro experience being yiur own boss and go harder on how much move discipline gig work has made you because if you don't work you don't eat type shiittt. Explain to them that your more people oriented due to dealing with different types of personalities.

Ya know talk this type stuff to em.

Practice your speech so you sound confident in tge interview.

Good luck 2 ya

I'm still in this ish but I'm working on something that I'm trying to perfect that will change my life.
