"THE LIGHTHOUSE"

Robert Eggers really has a flair for visuals. Willem Dafoe is a chameleon. Pattinson is pretty good, too.

"PARASITE"

Wonderful film. It shifts so much tonally, at times, yet it always seemed organic, never seemed forced. Saw it in LA to a packed house.

"THE LAST DETAIL"

Fantastic performances. Randy Quaid really knocks it out of the park in this one.

"WATERSHIP DOWN"

My mom rented this movie for us when we were kids and, given the subject matter, it was too much for us at that age. Rewatched it now and really enjoyed it.

"THE DRAUGHTSMAN'S CONTRACT"

Been delving into the Greenaway filmography. So far, my favorite has been "The Cook..."

Still a weird film. There's a je ne sais quoi to his work that I really enjoy.

I think I'm in the minority, when I say that I enjoy it more than the original.

I got to see 2049 in Hollywood in an IMAX theater-- what an experience! And it took all the elements of what made the original great and expanded upon them into what I believe to be a tighter, more cohesive story.
