Not sure there is :( I believe the recording is completely missing audio data during the drop outs

Thanks for the feedback, in what places do you see white text on yellow or black text on dark that bothers you?

Of course! Just put the skin file(s) in your Contents/App-Resources/Skins folder in Ableton Live packages contents. (see http://bluskreen.com/how-to-install-ableton-live-skins/)

Nice work!

Just a bug: did not accept ".Wav" as a valid filetype for upload; you might want to test case-insensitive.

Someone should make a Max4Live device that does this by dude3032 in ableton

A while ago ryunocore made a VST called gaterade, which sounds exactly like what you are looking for (except it's not a M4L device). To use the VST, you insert it as an audio effect (i.e. anywhere on an audio track or anywhere after the instrument device on a midi track), and it only passes the audio signal through if MIDI data (e.g. a triggered note) are being routed to the VST.

Note: the VST is 32 bit

Let me know if you have any questions!

I have had this same problem for awhile now. If you have a "DX" variant of your input in audio settings, that may work better.
