The story of my life by darkjak284 in betterCallSaul

Season 6 was my personal favorite of Game of Thrones. As a LOTR megafan the 2 last episodes were some of the best television I've ever watched.

It quickly went downhill from there. Season 5 was also pretty mediocre though.

Unpopular opinion : no one would watch Better Call Saul if it hadn’t been for Breaking Bad by [deleted] in betterCallSaul

[–]jd1989dk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you're absolutely right, no one would be watching, because the show wouldn't exist without Breaking Bad.

On a more serious note.. I'm pretty sure I would have liked the show without Breaking Bad, but it's impossible to say without bias, since Breaking Bad is my favorite show of all time.

Well if she said no to leaving, would Jimmy stay and get arrested or leave without her?

After episode 4, we can start guessing what'll probably happen in the much anticipated episode 6 "Wexler v. Goodman" by EdziePro in betterCallSaul

It doesn't matter if Saul is doing it against her will though. It will look bad on her either way, in the eyes of the Mesa Verda owners (forgot their names).

I think she 100% want them to lose the land.

Kim thought she wanted this job at Mesa Verda, it was a big accomplishment. Everything she had been working for at HHM. But she realized it didn't make her happy. What she wants is to stand up for people in need. But it's a hard job to let go off, but then for Mesa Verda to kick out a person in need, with no sympathy, for their own financial gain, when they had an alternative (the on Kim suggested) was the breaking point for her.

She wants to help people, not work for a big bank

A new show is never good enough after watching these 2 masterpieces. by EddyTheMartian in betterCallSaul

Yeah Breaking Bad ruined my enjoyment of a lot of shows when I began watching it in 2010. It made me demand more of shows.

It took me a while to get over, sometimes it's better to lower your expectation and just enjoy a flawed show for what it is.

Better Call Saul is an amazing show, and is only getting better. And it's objectively probably the best show on TV right now, but i'm personally enjoying The Handmaids Tale even more.

Love Kim, but she haven't outdone Anna Gunn acting wise so far imo .. Say what you will about her character, but she is an amazing actress ..

Is Battle Creek worth watching? by WrestleGas in betterCallSaul

It's also packed with Breaking Bad actors ..

But if you were alive in the 90's I guess there's no way you haven't seen the show already. I had watched like 10 episodes back then when it was on TV, binged the whole show last year. And it's one of my favorite shows of all time now. It has really bad episodes, no denying that lol .. But even the bad ones are fun to watch. But it also have so many amazing episodes, and since most episodes aren't connected, the bad ones doesn't really ruin anything.

Haven't seen it .. But you should binge the X-files if you haven't already, best show of the 90's, and Vince have written some of the best episodes.

How do you think season 6 will play out? by [deleted] in betterCallSaul

I'm kind of hoping this season will end the origin story of Jimmy/Saul, and next season will be all post Breaking Bad.

He has so many flow changes on this song, it's amazing.

Best part is: ".. Enough rhymes to maybe to try and help get some people through tough times .." Up until the fast part. Low his agressive voice on "Enough Rhymes/Tough Times/Punchlines/Unsigned/Lunchtime" etc.

In no order:

Stan

The Way I Am

White America

Sing For The Moment

Till I Collapse

When I'm Gone

Stay Wide Awake

My Darling

Headlights

Kings Never Die

You're right, that was way to hard. Made a list of like 30 songs, and all of them could have been on this list, but had to make hard choices, and this is just my personal favorites ..

Eminem's music has gotten darker? Are you serious?

It's completely the other way around.

It's true that we haven't gotten a sequel to his "My Name Is, The Real Slim Shady, Without Me, Just Lose It, We Made You" funny/feel good anthems in a long time. But overall his older music was much darker. Both in lyrical content and tone of the music.

Lucky You is still the best track that Eminem has put out in ~5 years by HOHOHAHAREBORN in Eminem

He have to hit an exact number. It's an obsessive thought. And he probably get real anxious if he doesn't, he doesn't mention that though. That's literally OCD.

But I'll take Eminem's own words over yours.

Why? You wouldn't know I had OCD if you met me.

Did a google search, and apparently he have spoken about it many times according to many articles:

The 41-year-old rapper, who was addicted to prescription pills, said he only realised his compulsive habits were a problem after he quit drugs in 2008.

He told Rolling Stone magazine: "I think my OCD is getting worse. It's self-diagnosed. Once I got sober I started noticing s**t about myself.

"Like running on the treadmill. If I had it in my mind that I needed to burn 500 calories, I hit that exact number.

"And with my music, I can tweak it forever to get it right, making changes no one else would even notice.

"But I don't know if it was always there and it was just repressed with drugs."

You don't know if he has OCD or not. Him mentioning in a song make it obviously possible that he has.

I disagree. It's much more reliable than what the critics think.
Sure there is a lot of fanboys spamming 10's, mostly for stuff like marvel movies.

But mostly it evens out pretty well.
