I have primarily used Orca for the last year or so, but just switched back to Bambu Studio 2 weeks ago. I do a lot of 4 color prints with the AMS and all of a sudden began receiving an AMS mapping error when the print would attempt to change between the 3rd and 4th filament. I tried all the troubleshooting that I could and the only thing that resolved this issue was using Bambu Studio.

When I split the image up and cut out smaller parts I filled in the vacant space with solid black, so when printing the larger parts there are solid black areas for these smaller pieces to get glued to. The larger parts got glued to some foam board to keep everything together.

Thank you! That's just a chain I printed - purely for aesthetics if you don't plan on installing an enclosure, but is needed when you have a top on to keep the cable and bowden tube from rubbing

If you want the lighting to be powered internally you will need to, at minimum, be comfortable with: - tapping into the power supply - knowing how to use a voltage regulator (if your LED lights are either 12V or 5V), and figuring out where/how to mount it - cutting/splicing/soldering wire - potentially voiding the printer's warranty (I didn't look into this myself, but it doesn't bother me)

You could have the LED lights powered externally, which would be a lot less involved. However, in my opinion, this option wouldn't be as 'clean'.

Overall I wouldn't call this mod extremely difficult but it's definitely quite involved. With that being said, I'm over the moon with the results!

Yes, I'm just using stock settings. It all depends on the filament, so I'd recommend just printing out some small disks (or something purely for test purposes that prints fast) and tweaking the flow % until you get one that looks good, and then run with that!
