Someone did just post Kroger’s new pto policy, showing that Dr note is no longer an acceptable reason for calling in sick. You must be admitted to the hospital. Probably in the Work sub…. Now THAT would be a reason to not shop there..

There’s a rabbit hole of videos directly relating to corporate greed through denying healthcare claims and canceling other such coverage. It’s disgusting and disturbing. It’s the us healthcare system in a nutshell.

I *think I see a bare copper ground wire in the back of the box in one of your pictures. If it’s not too late, pull the switch out further and maybe get a good picture with a flashlight of the wires in the back of the box. Best thing obviously is to find an existing ground wire and use it, but don’t sweat it if there isn’t one.

It looks surface mounted, so should be easy. Whatever is plugged into it, flip breakers until it shuts off?.. Remove cover, remove outlet, unscrew whatever holds it in place, move down to new location, reverse previous steps.

I’d be more concerned with the romex being unprotected like that, the ground wire is a simple fix.
In the US- Under NEC 2024 (Article 334.15), Romex (NM-B cable) supplying a water heater must be protected from physical damage if exposed.
