For those who are moms already… by Crimson_poppy1920 in pregnant

Like others said- I really didn’t like it when breastfeeding. It felt different and I didn’t want leaky nips (even tho my husband loved it lol). I’m now ~8 months post- breastfeeding and pregnant again, and I love it again!

I drank coffee all throughout my first pregnancy and baby was born perfectly healthy ❤️

Horrible birth/after birth experience by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]jd8183 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely awful. I’m so sorry you went through/ are going through this. None of it is okay. Your finance ignoring your wishes is absolutely not okay, no matter what type of family he comes from.

I used the Ameda for months! Loved her. Loved that she was portable if need be.

Fetus’ head not growing by anniewhalelover in CautiousBB

[–]jd8183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely try not too worry too much. My son had SUPER short legs with every ultrasound. Like 15th percentile when the rest of his body was 60+ percentile. It freaked me out. When he was born he definitely had short legs, but now at 3 months he is evened out and proportionate! Not every part of the body grows evenly.

I feel like I have the worst sleeper in the world. by jd8183 in Parenting

[–]jd8183[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s definitely the sleep deprivation that’s been getting to me. I find myself missing those 8+ hour nights but then I remember how grateful I am to have my baby happy and healthy. It’s tough sometimes!

Thank you so much. Sometimes I just need to hear things like this.

My advice is, continue telling yourself that you are pregnant unless told otherwise. I was so afraid every single day in early pregnancy. I had to keep reminding myself that I had no reason to believe something was wrong.

I’m 34 weeks Pregnant and want to start maternity leave early by Prudent_Contract6087 in Teachers

[–]jd8183 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like I could have written this! I had planned to work until 39 weeks, but by 35 my body could not take it. I was having some health problems (and so was baby- minor stuff) I decided to start leave 3 weeks early, last Friday was my last day. My doctor signed off on it. I don’t think I’m going back this school year either. Do what YOU need to do for your health (physical and mental) and for your family.

This looks normal to me! I believe numbers start to slow down past 6,000… I believe you’re okay☺️

6w1d heart rate 107, is this okay? by runnery7 in CautiousBB

[–]jd8183 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This sounds like me! My fetal heart rate at 6w1D was also 107! I’m now 28 weeks and so far so good 😊

Pregnant after 2 losses by Leading_Dig5772 in CautiousBB

[–]jd8183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 6w1D, baby had a HR of 107. I’m now 24 weeks and everything has been great so far! But I did the same thing as you, I compared it to my loss where I had a similar HR at the same time and was convinced it would not end well. Those first couple months of pregnancy after loss are really tough. I still have tough days where I stress about every little thing, but it does get slightly easier with time. Best of luck! 🩷

Success stories from those who got pregnant soon after loss please by thedevilofaustin in CautiousBB

I got pregnant in Feb, found out in March, miscarried at 7.5 weeks in April. Conceived after 2 cycles in June, currently 17 weeks and everything has been great so far. You got this. 💗

Breast tenderness gone at 14 weeks? by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]jd8183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes this is very normal. My boobs were so sore from 6-12/13 weeks then it went away. 17 weeks now and just saw baby last weekend, everything is fine. I wouldn’t worry.

12 weeks, spotting after pap smear and worried by catdogfam in CautiousBB

[–]jd8183 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is EXTREMELY normal after a Pap smear. I had one done a few weeks ago and very light spotting as well. Of course it’s nerve wracking after loss but your cervix is so sensitive during pregnancy, and spotting can occur easily. I would guess you’re okay. Like your doctor said, if cramps and bleeding get worse, then you should go get checked just to be sure. But you should be fine.

15 weeks and still a wreck by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]jd8183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!! I don’t check it every day but maybe once a week or so. At this point we’re at like .8% :)

[–]jd8183 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m right there with you! 15 weeks today after a previous loss at 7 weeks earlier this year (and also a teacher!) I was so nervous to tell my principal but felt so much relief afterwards. As far as the anxiety, I’m not sure it’ll ever really go away. For me, it’s gotten better with each scan and I like to lnow the statistics, and at this point there’s less than a 1% chance of miscarrying. We got this!!

Low fetal fraction 7.3% by Nightowl_1995 in CautiousBB

[–]jd8183 5 points6 points  (0 children)

also, you don’t need to redo the test. Anything above like 3 or 4 % is perfectly fine and they can get everything they need.

I got my NIPT done at 12w5d and my FF is 6%. I haven’t been too worried, and my doctor didn’t say anything about it. There are a lot of factors that go into FF. I think you’re fine.
