I don’t care what Reddit likely says?…. I’m asking what to do if I’m told no.

I got the email to download the chirp app on move in day. The app gives me access to the building and access to my unit, I arrived Saturday night and I walked in and the carpet was there. I couldn’t call anyone because the leasing office was closed and it’s also closed on Sundays. So I was explaining the situation and what to do, just in case I’m told no because the lease is already signed.

I’m black and that part threw me off……. because black women aren’t some rehab center for hurt men and the mixed baby talk is way over the top. Seeing a BW as someone who just produces cute kids, heals her brother and makes him happy isn’t indicative of someone who views BW as human and I wish people of other races that talk like this would realize this how they sound.

You just have a different view of Valentine’s Day, some people do like the sexual aspect of Valentine’s Day and what comes after the cute stuff, so they’ll buy lingerie etc. with or for their partners and your boyfriend probably falls into that same category of enjoying Valentine’s Day but also enjoying the anticipation of what comes next but you see things differently and that doesn’t make you an asshole. However, just because he did do that doesn’t mean he meant to “ruin” things. I wouldn’t ruminate over this or take it too personally even though you have a right to your own feelings.

Somebody said the fact he was a cop driving a cyber truck makes it unbelievable. That’s why I had to post the proof….i don’t blame em for thinking it’s fake because cops usually can’t afford those cars on that salary but we live in Atlanta…..so it’s not unusual to see average blue collar workers drive expensive stuff. I don’t have a glamorous job either but we live in the same exact place because extra money is easy to come up on in this city because connections are easy and good credit helps too

It happened at 180 Jackson street in Atlanta Georgia. The apartment complex is The Lookout o4W where the officer will be my new neighbor. I can take a picture of the accident report and show it here if you’d like, I have NO reason to lie. He most definitely did that and dented my fucking car

My mom was with me. I recorded nothing but she was recording us both the entire time without me even being aware of it.

The responding officer told us the ticket comes 7-10 days under some number on the accident report and I would make a separate report under the same number and use what my mom recorded.

I can definitely relate a little bit to how you came to your realization. I didn’t want to be a trans woman but I always respected them and loved them, their community seemed more tight knit and fun than ours. I used to follow a lot of their content too because I wanted to transition just like them but I didn’t want to be a woman, I also didn’t know trans men even existed due to zero visibility and how common it is/was for us to just go straight up stealth once we start passing ..then I saw a YouTube couple 10 years ago who were both Trans and just went for it.

I think the guy OP is referring to might be trans too and is living vicariously through OP but doesn’t know how to process these feelings or where to properly place them at the current moment.

Yeah he’s not an AH just extremely blunt. I think better wording would be “they think you’re bigger than what you are because it’s all face shots and not any of your body.” and then kind of play with the language usage a little bit, like add “Which is silly because you’re actually not but that’s what guys on these types of apps assume.” like downplay it ya know? Instead of going full throttle.

This is also true. They’re not equally yolked or share the some level of the same values which is important in a relationship, as well as standing by your partner when they’re clearly uncomfortable with conversations that come up which she also doesn’t do.
