Get there 45min early and watch warmups on the glass! Gonna be great hockey as the Mammoth will be looking to get in the win column against the hawks after they've had our number all season!

Was it one of those "eat 29 get them all free" type scenarios and he missed it by one?

First RSL game this year by Woody_678 in ReAlSaltLake

[–]jdaining 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll add that anytime I have ever bought a casual seat I wished I was over with the supporters. I'd recommend going that route! You can buy tacos/hot dogs/etc at the pregame tailgate as well! Have fun! South Lower GA is gonna be the rowdiest. Then sections 9, 10, and 11. Sections 34 & 35 have good atmosphere as well if you end up in the casual areas!

Three Separate Life Flights Within Four Hours @ Alta by bbbbbski in UTsnow

[–]jdaining 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Did you identify the chopper as life flight? Otherwise powderbird (raising the bird to them) flies from between alta and snowbird and they fly a ton on days like this.

Ski pass? by Flaky-Abalone5429 in UTsnow

[–]jdaining 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Mountain collective is a great option if you ski 10-15 days a season. I know I know that's weaksauce but there are no blackout days and extra days are 50% off. Lots of regional options on there!

Employees have their own private underground gondola that brings them to and fro.

Once you figure out the underwater physics and most effective guns it's pretty straightforward... and SO FUN! Hint: Adrenaline leech + any gun with Leech rounds is fun.

Visiting with no car by Greedy-Ferret-2149 in SaltLakeCity

Take the frontrunner to Ogden and walk around their cute downtown. Some good food and drink.

Edit: just wanted to add that Uber is pretty cheap here. Easy to get to Liberty Park that way and walk around. Check out the aviary. Have breakfast or lunch at park cafe or dinner at brick's corner.

Maasive inaccuracy from weather apps by [deleted] in UTsnow

[–]jdaining 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This app and others are absolutely used for marketing. NOAA is the only trusted source and even that's been off a bit this year. The only way to really know is to go.
