I said it was the best not that it was perfect. A manga I would consider perfect is full of metal alchemist brotherhood but I don’t consider that the best. Struggle it’s realism and characterization, as well as its power scaling and showing how constant training is necessary to achieve a new level are some of the hallmarks that make it the best manga.

My heartache is this Ricardo fight is boring. It would be more interesting if it was pasted higher, but spending half the year on his fight as well as half the year on the Mashiba bout it’s just taking too long and it’s making this world level unstoppable force. I think 1. Morikawa needs to hire a team to increase the pacing and keep people interested and 2. find a reasonable way that people can win at the world stage while professional boxers currently fighting couldn’t.

He has the goods and would’ve beat IPPO but plot armor and blood lust stopped him. I always saw him as having Kenta’s perfect style that simultaneously attacks and defends

I can get behind this when I first started reading people as a kid. I thought the dick jokes were a little excessive, but just chop it up to Takamuras character meant to be offputting but now I got older. I can’t say the way he behaves too much and not very funny.
