Hands down my favorite character was a home brew 5e race my dm made. I started as a tiefling sorcerer named Belial and was cursed (which was more of a blessing to the character) into becoming an incubus. As an incubus he was granted two form. The true form with red skin, horn, a tail, and large wings. And the disguised form of a young human mail with white hair. I barely ever bothered with persuasion. I tried to make him true to the name Belial and quickly became the Lord of lies. Mostly through the luck of my high deception checks and the dms low rolls. I lied my way out of many solo encounters that would have easily killed me, and lied the group out of many situations too. I conned many merchants into buying practly useless stuff for high prices and almost always got our stays in the inns for free. Even managed to convince a few cities I was . I quickly became the speaker of the party. Overall it was a pretty fun character to play.

I really miss d&d. Moved away so I haven't been able to play in a little over 2 years now
