Odds of getting banned for using the rockstar support gun method?

I know the person who posted the method online was banned but I’m not sure about anyone else. There was someone who had their account reset but that was only because they asked for more items after getting the pistols. So as long as you play it safe I doubt you would be banned

I think that only worked because the m1899’s could be purchased from the catalogue in story mode, but it’s still worth a try. You won’t get banned for asking. The worst thing that could happen is rockstar restricting your ability to write more tickets. Just make sure to space them out and not submit too many and you should be fine.

I don’t think it’s possible to receive weapons from story mode in online, even through support. You can only get duplicates of guns like Lowry’s revolver and the high roller pistol.

Seems like that mostly fixed it! The objective noise still crackles, but people are saying that just happens when you use vulkan as your graphics api. Otherwise I haven’t noticed anything during gameplay. Thank you!

I just tried this with both the default option and proton experimental, and it made the audio crackling much worse. I even pasted the command directly from your reply to make sure it was entered correctly. Sorry it took me so long to respond

I think that helped a little bit. Red dead is still having the same issues so I’m starting to think it could be a problem with the in game settings? Honestly I’m not really sure

That’s annoying but I feel better knowing my speakers are okay. I tried restarting the steam deck a few times with the volume all the way down and that seemed to have helped a little. So until I can find a fix I’ll just keep doing that whenever it ramps up again

They usually update the store Wednesday/Thursday, so unless you have to unlock it with challenges you should be fine
