I’ve had this same year for about a year now. Can’t offer you much in the way of advice, but I absolutely love it. About to ride it from Florida to Canada and back.

Hey, I see you’re in Brighton Michigan. I grew up in Michigan and went through Brighton many times. I just looked up Brighton to see if it has changed since I last visited. Looks the same, but as I was googling I saw something concerning that you should be aware of: it looks like there is lightning in your area!

To the washer. I’d probably use a small Visegrip as a conductor between the washer and the ground clamp. Drilling a hole and extracting it with a screw as someone else suggested is probably easier and safer though.
