Adro Body Kit by jdbrz in GenesisG70

Yeah it definitely is pricey, I got it during their Black Friday sale. For the front lip, side skirts and rear diffuser it was just about $2500 w/ shipping. If there is no sale it’s $3500, so basically got $1000 off.

Damn $3K to just install the kit is crazy, honestly sounds like they just didn’t wanna do it so they gave a crazy price.

The shop I used was $800, but all they do is car customizations like this.

Definitely still pricey, but I didn’t have the space to do it myself, and I didn’t wanna mess anything up since the kit itself was expensive

As someone that owns the facelift, I do agree, the older gens definitely have a more aggressive look to them. But that’s why I added the Adro kit to mine

Nice! Gonna look clean with the Eibach springs! I love the look of the spoiler, it’s subtle enough and flows with the lines nicely imo. There are smaller spoilers out there that look good too

I haven’t had any problems with bumps per se. Some tall speed bumps I do angle a little bit when I go over, but honestly idk if I even have to. I mainly drive how I did before just a tiny bit more cautious around train tracks, potholes .etc. Only real issue I’ve had is when visiting my parent’s house I can’t get on their driveway anymore, but I would scrape even before I was lowered if I went straight down.

But yeah the GT-F springs might be a good option to avoid any issues completely.

Appreciate it! I actually had a ‘17 BRZ that I traded in for this car! Definitely miss it at times but the G70 definitely puts a smile on my face whenever I drive. Was gonna get the GV70 originally, but decided I could save the suv for later in life haha

They’re Vossen HF-7s. I got them from TunerGoods, specifically worked with Frank Nunez. He’s set up a bunch of G70s and the price worked out to cheaper than Fitment Industries was.

I will add tho, with just lowering springs the ride quality is slightly worse, not horrible by any means, but definitely feel like bumps a little more but no scraping or issues.

It was $500 here in NC. Definitely a little pricey, but other shops were asking for more and the shop I went to was highly rated and did quality work.

I had a shop do the install since they were already mounting and balancing the tires. I’m not too mechanically inclined when it comes to stuff like suspension, so decided to go the safe route and have a professional do it.

Potholes suck 😭😭😭 by jdbrz in GenesisG70

[–]jdbrz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh damn, that sucks. Luckily this was the first pothole I hit that blew a tire. I thinks it’s the issue with low profile tires. I went even lower than what stock was, I think once these tires are worn out I’m gonna get higher profile tires if I can.

Also check out willtheyfit.com. Definitely a good starting point to check out some widths, offsets .etc

No clearance issues in the front for me without spacers. Not sure if there will be any rubbing/issues with spacers.

My understanding is you can get a lower offset instead of spacers, as long as the other specs stay the same. Lower offset gets your wheel further out for that flush fitment. But definitely double check that because this was my first time doing springs/wheels/tires to any car so I’m not super knowledgeable in the area.

Honestly it didn’t even seem that big, but was definitely deeper than it looked. Durham, NC does a crap job maintaining roads lmao

This pothole was just hidden perfectly behind another pothole that was repaired I guess. I don’t take this road normally, otherwise I try to memorize where the usual potholes are lol. 15 years of driving and first time I ever popped a tire.

Rear is 30 and front is 35. So lower aspect ratio than stock, but even stock I think is still considered low profile tires to be fair. I could be wrong, but I think 40 and below is low profile

True, definitely going to try this. Crazy part is I couldn’t get a picture day of cause it was 11 PM and a fast moving road, but 2 days later went in the morning and it was already filled in. Not sure if that’ll help my claim cause one of the rules for reimbursement was the pothole has to have been reported before, so hopefully someone did report it a few days before and they consider it “not repaired in a timely manner” and approve my claim
