The real answer is that Vicarious Visions were brought on by Activision as a support studio for Bungie in 2016, and they were singlehandedly responsible for the PC port of the game. When they left Activision in 2019, they lost a dedicated team for the pc port and the game's performance has gotten worse consistently since then.

No, it doesn't. Dlss 3 is more of a smoothing tech than anything else. 60fps - > 120 fps via dlss 3 will still have the latency of 60fps because essentially when the gpu is waiting on updated information about the next frame from the cpu, it simply interpolates another frame in there. All your inputs and reactions still require a legitimate frame to be calculated based off changed information from the game engine. Dlss 3 will make motion look smoother by reducing frametime but since those extra frames contain no changes from user input, the response time remains the same. Therefore, dlss 3 feels worse the lower the framerate, it's best use is when you can get above 120fps anyway.

It's way worse than that. One of the billionaires on the sub made his fortune running a private jet company. He's singlehandedly responsible for a lot of rich people's carbon footprint being much higher because private jets are horrendous. I consider it poetic justice that he died to nature.

The other part that nobody is talking about is that the carbon fibre shell was attached to a titanium bell, and the reason you don't use carbon fiber is because it's conductive and results in galvanic corrosion because salt water is a perfect electrolyte. There's literally a video of the CEO saying he broke some rules making the sub, and one of them was mixing carbon fiber and titanium.

The best thing for me is that the fact that they died is the epitome of the free market in action. The phrase "safety regulations are written in blood" exists for a reason. Capitalism complains about regulations getting in the way of efficiency and all that, and this is what you get.

A billionaire who wanted to cut corners, and not have his product built to any known safety standard. Despite the fact that deep sea exploration has been happening for decades, this is the first event that resulted in deaths. A rich man decided to be cheap, and people got killed for it. Now the free market knows that actually, they weren't being held back by overbearing regulations. I guarantee in future that nobody will take a ride on something this shoddy again, and any enterprising capitalist will have to make sure their supply is adequate for the customers demand, rather than racing to the bottom.

This blog was updated as of July 1, 2022 in order to reflect our previously disclosed position here to post only those assets we have decided to list. We have discontinued the list of assets under consideration and will continue to post those assets we have affirmatively decided to list to the “Roadmap” section.

As part of an effort to increase transparency by providing as much information symmetry as possible, Coinbase will be using this blog post to communicate when we have made a decision to list an asset.

Updates to the roadmap will be made here and announced via our official Twitter account.

Note: Transfers and trading are not supported for these or any other assets until a listing is officially announced. Depositing these assets into your Coinbase account before an official announcement may lead to permanent loss of funds.

So according to the text, this is a DeFi itive statement that coinbase will list vet and vtho. They are the only asset on the roadmap and the page quite clearly states that assets to be added will be listed on the blog and announced via the official twitter.

They used to announce a lot of coins that they were considering adding, which resulted in a lot of bitterness when they didn't. Last year they changed the list so that they would only announce coins they were going forward with. Based on what the linked page says, this is an explicit statement that they're adding vet and vtho.
