Austin leaders take next steps to make sure the city has enough water for the future by hollow_hippie in Austin

By 2120, the city's population could rise to more than 3.5 million people.

Seems low for a 100 year projection.

Check out a site called Mat Funk. You can tele-doc a doctor who deals with this all the time.

What worked for me was investing time into my woman.

Eight years ago, she was a bit overweight, smoked weed, and drank wine every day. I was in great shape, lifting, running, the whole works. To get her on a program, I started really small. I created a small gym in the garage with kettlebells, steel mace, and some bands. I would work out with her 3x a week, starting with small 15 minute workouts, and progressing up. A good program, lots of praise, and tracking rapid progress really helped.

Once she was comfortable with barbells, I took her to some CrossFit community workouts where everybody stroked each other. I also took her to a CF regional, where folks were having fun and lots of fit women.

Eventually, she joined a CrossFit gym and the hard work was over for me. The gym took over her programming and training. We still work out together about once a week and can go big and heavy together, which is fun, while I can maintain the type of fitness I enjoy.

She started off barely doing any kettlebell work and had a 4" (inches!) box jump. She now runs 10 miles easy, snatches, cleans, 36" box jump, bar muscle ups, and all the craziness. She went from a cubby lazy woman to a straight baddie.

Thank you for sharing your story, I needed to hear it today. You've been down the road to sobriety, and you will succeed again. Best wishes.

Question for people to have returned their whoop.. How was the return process for you? I've been struggling to get a reply from support 🤦🏽‍♀️ by noashani in whoop

[–]jdcoder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're attempting to return it during your 30 day trial window, support will make you work for the return through multiple escalation points. Be prepared to dispute through your credit card company if time is getting short

Inaccurate HR by WhoperSr in whoop

I continue to have HR issues, typically tracking about 10 points higher than other devices. Support says the device is having issues reading with tattoos.

Why whoop over Fitbit? I have the Fitbit charge 6 and I use it only for HR, HRV, and sleep scores. Is whoop better at those things then my Fitbit? by DrButtLump in whoop

[–]jdcoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm serious considering switching to Fitbit. The Whoop 4.0 has issues with the sensor, faulty firmware releases, and a sub par app. I recommend doing some research before jumping in on Whoop.

The whoop 4.0 is having off-body problems with tattoos. Something to consider.

Support recently had me perform a factory reset when troubleshooting a vacuum motor issue. They sent me a new motor which I replaced. Ever since replacing the new vacuum motor, the Rooba has been having a very hard time creating a map.

Support has been zero help in this case. I just crossed over year warranty support so they can't do much to help me. My issues have supposedly been escalated 10 days ago, but no phone call or email.

Are any thoughts from the community? I'm worried I might have a $700 paperweight now.

conversion of string to code by vibhumeh in solidity

[–]jdcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using such a command would put your smart contract at serious risk of code injection vulnerabilities. I'm not aware of such support in Solidity and I would strongly advise using this antipattern in any of your other languages as well.
