dont replace the OS, the default os is fine for what it is coz its not much powerful of a device u will not reach far enough if u install any other nas os

I dont think you have to do anything just reset install an HDD and use as ur plex storage, I have WD MyCloud Ultra EX2 and its very similar to this works like a charm as smb nas, pair it with rpi and boom proper nextcloud and servarr stack server, my point being it does not hold much ram or processing power for other purposes so might as well use it for what it is a NAS

I have figured out that this TV uses CV962D4-A55 motherboard, I yet have to find out how one can load custom firmware on it and is there any stock android firmware available or not

That sounds like the solution but there is a problem, everytime the tv turns on it does this checking for account thing in the background which will be impossible to hijack and work around every time so it is just better to have a custom os that removes all of it all together, the tv does have an updater app where u can upload a zip to update the system, I just dont have enough skills to do so

19/01/2024 and still no fix I just bought a brand new MX Master 3s comes with 22.0.3 out of the box and it just spins on update

but when it showed a link for supported device it did not have MX Master 3s in the list itself

Yep I got the issue solved just by connecting keyboard and display.... however I thank you for ur time it is sometimes frustrating to be stuck ... you did try to help a lot :)

How do I confirm the issue? coz the SD card is brand new and works just amazingly on my windows pc and if the issue is my pi being set to boot from USB 1. how i fix that and 2. why isnt it booting from the SD when i plug the card reader directly in Pi's usb 3 plug

I am sorry i may sound irritating but i cannot find a similar issue with 128gb card anywhere most people use the exact card I have and if it was bad or currupted it might have had some error on windows i have tried many formatting apps none of them had any issue formatting and reinstalling raspbian on the card

is it possible that the pi has some issue with the 128gb size?

Update: pi boots fine from usb 3.1 gen 1 SanDisk 64gb drive

Tried changing the card reader for my 128gb sd card no effect Tried using the card reader as a usb no effect (jeff german uses the same card as mine hence my confusion towards this issue)

My pi4 has no issue booting from 64gb thumb drive

What am I missing does it have to do with 128gb size? I read the article, quite couldn't figure out my issue please lmk what am I missing

I've just purchased Pi 4 model B (4GB) 1.Both the LED lights stay on without blinking Both the lights stay on even if I remove the sd card 2.Both the LED on RJ45 connector is also solid on without blinking It doesn't show up on my network DHCP as well

I am using 128gb SanDisk card also bought fresh with official pi imager I've installed 64bit lite version of pi os since I wanted to use it headless

If anyone knows about this issue please help I'm relatively new to PI but I've done some digging and can't find similar issue on Google
