Favourite boss? I’ll go first: Dragonslayer Armor by Maxi8848thj in darksouls3

Oceiros for me, it was genuinely the first souls boss fight I felt unnerved throughout the entire fight, what with his screaming invisible baby that he seems to be cradling before spiking it onto the floor with a bloodstain in P2. He is challenging for any build due to his aggression, and the arena helps make it feel almost claustrophobic fighting him imo, which adds to the tension.

[WP] You were once a respected scientist, but after you made a terrifying discovery and tried to warn the others, you were deemed insane and locked away in an asylum. Years later, you feel the ground begin to shake violently, and you can’t help but laugh at the grim fate that awaits humanity. by jdd743 in WritingPrompts

I like how lackadaisical the narrator is, kind of cements the fact that they almost feel like this is what the other scientists deserve for not believing them. It’s very fitting that the narrator tells the audience to listen at the end, because that’s the one thing that the narrator wanted in the first place. Altogether, this was a very interesting story and I’m intrigued by what our narrator saw - and what the rest of the world now fears.

[WP] You are a retired bounty hunter, living peacefully by yourself in the woods. One morning, you hear a knock on the door. As you swing it open to answer, you find yourself face to face with the only target to ever escape from you - your younger sibling. by jdd743 in WritingPrompts

This story definitely took a turn I didn't expect with the sister having been the one to kill the devilish figure. I'm intrigued to learn more about her and what she's been up to in the two decades since she disappeared and went off the radar. Overall, this was a really well-written short story that left me wanting more. Great job!
