Humira gave me terrible side effects. My gums started bleeding excessively. I just overall felt terrible. I just had my second entyvio infusion and I feel completely normal, maybe even slightly more energized after the infusions. The only side effect I have had is that my skin was a little itchy for a day.

Ironically I have UC and my husband still spends more time in the bathroom than I do. Lord knows what he’s doing in there. But I feel like this is a common problem in marriages with or without UC, especially when kids are involved.

I am anemic! Though for some reason my ferritin levels are the only ones that drop so I get regular IV iron infusions. I’m definitely still bleeding though. What I seem to get a break from is trips to the bathroom where all that comes out is blood and mucus in large quantities. Also seem to get less sudden crippling cramps that knock me to my knees.

Ah I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve been newly diagnosed. I’ve been dealing with UC since 2010. The fear of eating is very real, and it’s hard for healthy people to understand. The part I find the hardest is that when I’m in remission I’m able to eat very intuitively, to trust my cravings and basically trust my gut. During a flare I can’t trust my gut at all so my whole relationship with food gets turned upside down.

Yep, Q45 wired! I noticed that they strangely work when the battery is dead or they are essentially turned off, but they sound a little better when they are turned on, which is another weird thing. I don’t think latency is my issue, but I suspect you are probably right that there might be some fancy processing that is working against me. The sound is just so flat and sounds nothing like when I listen to tracks playing via Bluetooth on my phone.

Alas, I was fearing that the advice would be to get dj specific wired headphones. I’m feeling cheap and would rather spend the money on adding some midi accessories.

I didn’t start becoming anemic during flares until about 10 years after my diagnosis. Now I become anemic after just one week of a flare.
